This is an opportunity to play a key role in a strategic shift within the business. Moving away from reliance on traditional sectors and proactively building relationships in new markets such as manufacturing and private education.

Here, you’ll have the freedom to build your own pipeline, explore new sectors and help shape how the business grows in the years ahead. There’s real autonomy, direct access to management and the chance to make your mark early.
Strong progression opportunities exist for you as the business scales into new sectors, with the potential to step into more senior commercial roles as success is delivered. People who perform well here don’t stay static, they progress quickly.
It is also a role that requires resilience. New business is rarely easy. Rejection is part of the process, success ratios can be tough and internal processes won’t always be perfectly structured. You’ll need to navigate stakeholders, coordinate tenders and keep momentum moving.

The Business
The company is a fourth-generation, family-owned foodservice supplier with strong, long-standing partnerships across the UK hospitality sector. They supply some of the best-known restaurant brands in the country with fresh produce and ingredients to more than 4,000 customer sites.

What You’ll Need
You’ll bring proven experience in new business development within food, with the confidence to approach new markets and generate opportunities through networking, outreach and face-to-face engagement.
You will also have the ability to support new business tender processes and coordinate across internal teams such as distribution, technical and operations.
Excel and systems literacy will support your day-to-day activity, but your real strength will be energy, resilience and a growth focussed drive.
