The payments and digital asset industry is evolving fast. Businesses are waking up to what modern financial services can do for them. And Clearing — one of the few companies operating at the intersection of traditional payments and digital assets - is growing its sales team to meet that moment.  

We are looking for someone at the start of their career who is serious about building it in financial services.    


About Clearing 

Clearing is a regulated financial services business. We give ambitious companies — from fast-growing scale-ups to global institutional clients — one account to move money across borders, currencies, and networks. Fiat and digital assets, under one roof. 


We hold FCA, MAS, and FINTRAC licences. We have grown significantly over the past few years and are well-positioned for the next stage — backed by experienced leadership, a strong product range, and a team that takes what it builds seriously.

The role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the front of the commercial engine — identifying, prospecting, and engaging the businesses that stand to gain most from what Clearing offers. 


Outreach is structured, targeted, and backed by marketing. Candidates will be expected to understand their prospect base, engage with purpose, and represent Clearing professionally across all channels. 


In your first year, success looks like a full pipeline, consistent meeting generation, and a developing understanding of Clearing's client base — putting you in a strong position to grow through Clearing's personal development programme.


What you'll be doing  

  • Identifying and generating new business opportunities within the financial services sector 
  • Conducting targeted outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, as part of a structured, marketing-supported approach 
  • Researching potential clients, markets, and sectors to support outreach strategies
  • Scheduling meetings and calls for senior members of the business development team
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM
  • Working closely with marketing and internal teams to support campaigns and business development initiatives 
  • Continuously building product and market knowledge within financial services


What we're looking for

  • 0–1 years’ of professional experience — sales, recruitment, finance, or client-facing roles preferred, but not essential 
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive, self-starting mindset 
  • Resilience and persistence in a target-driven environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — confident engaging with senior professionals
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail 
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and financial services
