The Company My client is a globally recognised machinery manufacturer currently experiencing a strong period of growth. They are actively seeking a Business Development Manager to join the business as part of their ongoing expansion plans.
The Role My client is seeking a commercially astute and technically skilled Business Development Manager to build long-term customer partnerships and drive global sales.
The successful candidate will have an engineering background and a passion for sales and customer engagement. This role involves selling new machinery, significant system upgrades, and tailored service or contract packages. You will be responsible for identifying bespoke capital equipment solutions that meet complex client needs.
You’ll be expected to visit customer sites, host on-site visits, and represent the business at key international events and trade shows. With a technical sales process and a longer sales cycle typical of bespoke machinery, success in this role requires strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
