ALS Recruiting is working with a leading Freight Forwarder within the Freight and Logistics sector to find an experienced Business Development Manager who is tired of capped potential and ready for a seat at a high-growth table.


We aren't looking for someone to "manage a desk." We’re looking for a specialist who thrives on winning, someone who can spot an opportunity in Air, Sea, or Road Freight and turn it into a long-term, profitable partnership.


What’s in it for you?

We know top-tier talent doesn't come cheap, and we believe in paying for performance.

  • The Base: £65,000 – £80,000 (depending on how much experience you bring to the table).
  • The Upside: A highly lucrative, uncapped commission structure (up to 25%). If you land the big accounts, you see the rewards. Simple as that.
  • The Ride: A fully expensed company car or a premium car allowance.


What you’ll actually be doing:

  • Winning Business: You’ll target and secure high-value accounts across Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics.
  • Problem Solving: This isn’t a "scripted" sales job. You’ll use a consultative approach to fix complex supply chain headaches for your clients.
  • Negotiating: You’ll lead the charge on commercial agreements, ensuring they are as profitable for the business as they are beneficial for the client.
  • Collaborating: You won't be on an island. You’ll work closely with internal operations and customs teams to make sure the promises you make are the ones we deliver.


Who you are:

You have a proven track record in freight forwarding sales. You know the difference between a lead and a relationship. You’re confident, you’re commercial, and you’re ready to represent a brand that actually delivers on its service levels.
