Salary : £50,000-£60,000 negotiable plus attractive benefits package, car or allowance
Do you want to join a very well established contract manufacturer in the flexographic print sector ? We currently have a rare opportunity for a professional Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager to take the business to the next level. What will you do ?
- Build strong relationships with existing customers
- Drive growth through strategic customer engagement
- Research and investigate new markets
- Create tailored sales and delivery strategies
- Manage key accounts
- Grow the existing customer base and add & develop new customers
- Determine the strategy for market expansion through competitor analysis, trend monitoring, value propositions and new opportunities
- Provide technical support to customers
- Act as the liaison between the company and customers in terms of product delivery and service delivery, ensuring that solutions meet customer needs
- Lead monthly sales forecasting, monitor performance against expectations, and contribute to annual sales budgeting and projections.
- Manage pricing, ensuring that quotations are accurate and profitability maintained
- Attend trade shows, seminars, exhibitions to provide industry visibility
- Liaise with engineering, design and development to ensure customer needs are met
What do you bring ?
- Proven experience of working in Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management or Account Management
- UK and European experience beneficial
- Experience in the flexographic printing industry or very very similar is essential
- Experience of medical packaging products preferred
- Strong ability to identify new market opportunities - a hunter
- Able to identify regional market dynamics
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships - a farmer
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High degree of credibility and trustworthiness
- A keen listener with a natural curiosity
- Able to get under the skin to truly understand customer pain points and needs. Able to then offer a solution
- A flexible, adaptable approach that embraces data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence is essential
