BDM – Durham Starting salary : £30,000

Our client, a well-established and well known commercial waste management company, are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager (B2B) to join their motivated sales team on a permanent basis to further drive the company’s success in the Durham area. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for seeking and converting new opportunities from companies within the Durham area from first contact through to closing the sale. This role is predominantly field-based, with company car and fuel card provided.

As a commercial waste company, our client is ideally looking for candidates with existing knowledge and experience within the industry however it is not required.

To apply for the Business Development Manager role, you should have a proven track record in field-based business to business sales. You will be confident to carry out cold calling activity, door knocking, appointment setting and attending client meetings to discuss service and product options with them. The Business Development Manager will have a target-driven approach, with the ability to maximise and close sales.
