As business Development Manager, you will be working for a leading global logistics provider, responsible for driving new business growth within the road freight sector through proactive field sales and client engagement. Job type: Permanent On offer: Salary up to £50,000 Car allowance Annual bonus Key Responsibilities: Generate and convert new business opportunities (FTL, LTL, groupage) Conduct field sales activity, including regular face-to-face client meetings Build and manage a strong sales pipeline Develop relationships and win long-term contracts Prepare proposals, tenders, and pricing solutions Negotiate rates and service agreements Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery Monitor market trends and maintain CRM reporting Skills & Experience: Proven field sales/BDM experience in road freight/logistics Strong knowledge of UK/EU transport markets Track record of winning new business Excellent communication and negotiation skills Commercial awareness and margin focus KPIs: New business revenue Gross margin Client meetings and conversion rates Accounts won and retained WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
