Business Development Manager – Renewable Power Hire\n\nJob Title: Energy Consultant – Renewable Power Hire\n\nIndustry Sector: Infrastructure, Construction, Utilities, Highways, Rail, Renewable, Power , Hire Industry, Solar Generators, Solar Smart Frames, Battery Storage Units, Renewable Power Accessories, Construction, House Building & Property Development, Civil Engineering & Groundwork, Equipment Hire and Public Sector\n\nArea to be covered: North – ideally based M62 corridor\n\nRemuneration: £45,000-£55,000 neg. + up to 100% Bonus\n\nBenefits: Hybrid or EV company car + comprehensive benefits package\n\nThe role of the Technical Business Development Manager – Renewable Power Hire will involve:\n\n * Field sales position selling the hire of renewable power\n\n * Promoting solar generators, solar smart frames, battery storage units and renewable power accessories\n\n * Predominantly selling into construction contractors as well as civils and utilities\n\n * Targeting sustainable teams within the contractors\n\n * Responsible for growing an area with a £1.5m/ £2m turnover to £3m+\n\n * 50% new business within existing contractors and 50% new business within new customers\n\n * Projects typically 15-20 weeks+, £1,000 per week\n\n * Glenigan leads provided, plus an influx of leads from our clients sales support team\n\nThe ideal applicant will be a Technical Business Development Manager – Renewable Power Hire with:\n\n * Must have hire/ rental industry experience\n\n * Ideally technical knowledge of renewable power products\n\n * Power , battery and solar field sales backgrounds would be ideal\n\n * Open to portable accommodation, welfare modular buildings and plant/ tool hire backgrounds\n\n * Happy to travel (large area)\n\n * Ability to communicate technical product knowledge\n\n * Strong negotiation and commercial skills\n\n * Proven new business and account management experience\n\n * Construction/ infrastructure sector experience\n\n * Understanding of electrical installations\n\nThe Company\n\n * 70+ employees\n\n * £15m+ turnover\n\n * Privately held\n\nMitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within: Infrastructure, Construction, Utilities, Highways, Rail, Renewable, Power , Hire Industry, Solar Generators, Solar Smart Frames, Battery Storage Units, Renewable Power Accessories, Construction, House Building & Property Development, Civil Engineering & Groundwork, Equipment Hire and Public Sector
