Business Development Manager - Events

I am looking for an experienced event sales professional to join a global events and travel management specialist as a Business Development Manager.
You will drive strategic sales, position and sell high-value event solutions. This role is all about cultivating opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering measurable growth in both existing and new accounts.
What You'll Do:
Lead the full sales cycle - from prospecting and lead generation to pitching, negotiating, and closing. Proactively develop a high-quality pipeline in line with business targets. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for new business. Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve commercial goals. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to grow brand awareness. Collaborate with the global sales and account management teams to share leads and drive company-wide growth. Partner with Marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and brand activations. Keep CRM systems up to date to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven success in business development within the events industry (travel experience a plus). In-depth understanding of the events market and competitive landscape.
