Integrate that plan by utilizing existing contacts and networking to build a portfolio of additional contacts, including decision makers, influencers, branch managers, sales staff, and territory sales managers to grow the overall business.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across the UK&I that can be developed within existing accounts or through new opportunities.
Drive sales growth and ensure sales, profit, and margin targets are achieved in line with overall business objectives.
Develop pipeline and sales resilience across target market sectors and manage via CRM (Salesforce).
Utilize internal tools and systems to track and report weekly progress toward individual and team sales goals.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs and requirements, and provide them with relevant product knowledge while addressing any questions or concerns.
Keep up to date on industry trends and market conditions and report key changes back to the business.
Focus on key activities to drive collaboration and partnership within your account base.
Stay motivated by continuous improvement and strive to constantly exceed customer expectations.
Interpret data and make recommendations on how we should adapt based on what we are seeing.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in the fire detection industry.
Preferably educated to college level or equivalent.
Strong understanding of British Standards, Fire Systems, EVCS, and associated systems.
Proven track record of successful sales performance.
Results-driven and accountable, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in virtual/digital communication tools (email, chat, video conferencing), as many customers now prefer digital interaction.
Ability to leverage data to develop sales strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce) and other sales-related software for managing customer relationships and tracking progress.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly and adapt.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Collaborative team player, consultative, solution-oriented, confident presenter, driven, results-focused, with a digital mindset.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
