We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a market‑leading short‑term property finance lender, offering a strong basic salary, uncapped bonus and a highly active London lending mandate.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager – Bridging Finance, you will take full responsibility for originating and converting new business across North London and the West End. This is a true front‑office, field‑based position focused on relationship‑led origination, complex deal structuring and sustained broker engagement.

You will be supported by an experienced underwriting, credit and completions function, allowing you to focus on relationship management, deal flow and revenue generation rather than internal blockers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, originate and develop new bridging finance opportunities through brokers and professional introducers
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key intermediaries across your territory
  • Structure and progress deals across residential, semi‑commercial, commercial and development bridging
  • Work closely with internal underwriting and credit teams to drive transactions through to completion
  • Maintain a strong market presence through regular face‑to‑face broker meetings and networking
  • Consistently achieve and exceed lending and income targets

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within bridging finance or specialist property lending
  • Existing broker and introducer relationships within London or surrounding areas
  • Strong understanding of short‑term lending products, structures and credit processes
  • A commercially driven, relationship‑focused sales approach
  • Track record of originating and completing bridging transactions
  • Confident, credible and able to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
