Overview MCS is delighted to be recruiting a Business Development Executive for a market-leading FMCG company. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment, arrives early, finishes early, and enjoys both customer engagement and business development. This is an inside sale role within a growing wholesale operation. You will engage with internal clients, manage delivery orders, coordinate packaging and order prep, and support procurement. The role combines office and warehouse responsibilities, with a structured, hands-on approach. Key Responsibilities Engage with internal clients, nurture existing relationships, manage retention, and upsell products. Oversee delivery orders: coordinate order processing and shipping logistics. Support the packaging and assembly of orders for the sales team. Retail route coverage: spend one day each week visiting wholesalers, processors, and shops. Assist with procurement and buying activities after deliveries are processed. Essential Criteria / Qualifications Reliability and exceptional time-management, able to commit to a 4 am start. Resilient and calm under pressure Comfortable working across office and warehouse settings. Flexible mindset and willingness to assist with packaging or order prep as needed. Confident in an internal sales environment, comfortable with upselling and structured account management. Adaptable, coachable, and keen to grow within a more structured career path.
