Ciklum is looking for an Business Development Director to join our team full-time in United Kingdom. We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Director to join our growing UK team. This is a hybrid hunter/farmer role for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in account management, revenue growth, and new business acquisition within the technology or digital services sector. This role will be primarily focused on supporting accounts and pursuits across our Tech Platforms – ISV and SaaS Portfolio (B2B and B2C).
You will lead strategic client engagements while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for building and converting a high-quality pipeline, owning the end-to-end sales process, and contributing to Ciklum’s continued growth in the UK market.
Develop and execute strategies for new client acquisition to fuel revenue growth
Own the sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract signature, ensuring a smooth transition into delivery
Expand and grow revenue within existing strategic accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Maintain and refine a robust target account list, leveraging market insights and research
Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates, with full adherence to Ciklum’s sales process
Craft compelling, tailored value propositions and sales collateral to support business development efforts
Represent Ciklum at industry events, conferences, and webinars to raise brand awareness and generate leads
7+ years’ experience in a client-facing sales, account management, or business development role in consulting, technology services, or digital transformation
~ Strong experience in solution based selling and the ability to position and sell complex digital solutions to C-level executives
~ Commercially savvy with experience managing account-level P&Ls, contracts, and commercial negotiations
~ Adept at navigating long, consultative sales cycles and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
~ Be part of a creative and collaborative team shaping the future of digital engineering.
