Business Development DirectorUK - Mobile / Hybrid Infrastructure & Recruitment ServicesWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to secure and develop high-value opportunities within our target infrastructure sectors.This is a senior role focused on identifying, developing and winning major contracts, building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, and helping shape the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating new revenue streams and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.You will work closely with internal teams including marketing, bid management and operational delivery teams to ensure opportunities are developed effectively and successfully converted into new business.The RoleAs Business Development Director, you will:Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective and existing clientsDevelop strong relationships with decision-makers across target organisationsGenerate and progress sales leads through to successful contract awardsLead negotiations on rates, terms and commercial agreementsCollaborate with bid teams on formal tenders and proposalsSecure written agreements and oversee the handover of new contracts to delivery teamsMaintain awareness of market conditions and recruitment charge rates within key workforce skillsetsCreate opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services within existing customersSupport forecasting activities relating to pipeline opportunities and expected winsGuide and support colleagues who are contributing to the sales processThis role is mobile and will involve meeting customers across the UK, working from company locations, customer sites or other meeting venues as required.About YouWe are looking for a commercially focused business developer with a strong track record of securing large contracts and building long-term customer relationships.You will likely have:Proven business development or sales experienceExperience within a recruitment, workforce solutions, or employment business environmentDemonstrable success in developing strategic client relationshipsExperience leading or directing sales teams or supporting wider sales functionsStrong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence presenting solutions to senior stakeholdersGood organisational and planning abilitiesExperience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer recordsA background of business devlopment within infrastructure or related sectors is essential.What You'll Be Part OfThis role sits at the centre of our growth strategy.
