You will play a key role in identifying and engaging prospective clients, progressing opportunities through initial qualification and into the proposal stage. Working in close partnership with Account Executives and technical Subject Matter Experts, you will help position Thermo Fisher Scientific as a trusted partner for analytical and GMP laboratory services.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop within a highly specialized and technical commercial environment, contributing directly to new client acquisition and market expansion.What you will do:Proactively research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities across biotech and pharmaceutical companies in Europe requiring GMP analytical servicesEngage prospective clients through targeted outreach, articulating Thermo Fisher Scientific’s value proposition and capabilitiesDrive early-stage opportunity development, progressing leads through qualification to initial proposal/quote stagePartner closely with Account Executives and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to evaluate opportunities and support solution positioningCoordinate the establishment of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) with new clientsSupport the preparation and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accurate and complete information within SalesforceContribute to the commercial and financial setup of new client accountsMaintain a high level of activity and pipeline visibility through effective use of CRM and business intelligence toolsProvide market and competitive insights to support ongoing commercial strategyHow will you get here:Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas:Business development / sales within CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech, or drug development environments, with a strong focus on prospecting and lead generation, ORCustomer-facing experience within GMP analytical laboratories or related technical environments, with exposure to client interactions and commercial processesExperience within CRO, CDMO, pharmaceutical, or analytical services environments is strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated ability in prospecting and pipeline generationAbility to engage credibly with both commercial and technical stakeholdersHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM platformsStrong communication and presentation skillsProactive, self-motivated, and results-orientedWorking Conditions and Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.Travel domesticallyInteraction with clients/associates required.Long varied hours required occasionally.About Thermo Fisher Scientific Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
