We’re looking for a Business Developer to join our 6-person Client Acquisition Team (CAT ). Our approach is different from standard sales:
- No solo KPIs - team goals only
- Collaboration first - every opportunity is handled in pairs (tech + business)
- Smart outreach- events, talks, and strategic marketing support instead of cold calling
- Full-cycle involvement - from the first hello to project delivery and long-term client partnerships
What you’ll do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Represent Applifting at events and networking opportunities
- Lead proposals and negotiations, ensuring win–win outcomes
- Collaborate closely with tech leads and architects on tailored solutions
- Manage CRM and follow up on leads systematically
- Support existing clients as a key partner throughout the project lifecycle
What we’re looking for
- Experience in IT/digital products and an understanding of the project lifecycle
- Orientation towards the UK market
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Organised, reliable, and a strong team player
