Project Manager - Business Change - £45,000 Location: Birmingham Type: 12 months FTC Are you a driven Project Manager with a passion for delivering meaningful business change? We're partnering with a market-leading organisation undergoing significant transformation, and we're looking for an ambitious individual to play a key role in shaping and delivering a wide-ranging change agenda. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of the business, driving strategic initiatives that enable growth, improve performance, and embed lasting change. This is not an IT delivery role - it's about leading business-focused projects, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring change is successfully adopted across the organisation.
The Role You'll support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of business change initiatives, helping to turn strategic goals into tangible outcomes. Working across functions, you'll bring structure, clarity, and momentum to projects that impact people, processes, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end business change projects and initiatives Define project scope, objectives, and measurable outcomes Build and manage detailed project plans, adapting to evolving priorities Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement Drive effective communication across teams and leadership Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery Lead RAID processes and proactively resolve issues Prepare and present updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums Coordinate resources to maximise efficiency and delivery success Support the embedding of change through strong stakeholder engagement Contribute to continuous improvement of project and change practices About You
Proven experience delivering business change or transformation projects Strong project planning and organisational skills Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable working with senior leaders Excellent communication and influencing ability Able to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure Experience with project governance, reporting, and risk management Familiarity with project tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar) Degree-qualified or equivalent experience Project management certification (e.g., APM or similar) is desirableAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
