Reports to: IT Director

Employment type: Full time, permanent

Based: Hybrid, 1-2 days a week in our Burntwood head office

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

About the role

At Busy Bees, our mission is simple: to give every child the best start in life. We do this by delivering exceptional early years education and care – and we know that starts with having the right systems, tools, and people in place behind the scenes.

We're now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in transforming how we work, starting with our HR and Payroll systems.

Why join Busy Bees

At Busy Bees, we don’t just care about children – we care about our people. Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Purpose-driven culture – be part of a mission that truly matters
  • Opportunity to make real impact – influence high-level decisions and major system transformation
  • Collaborative, caring environment – work with passionate people who live our values: Care, Quality, Service, and Value
  • Professional growth – gain exposure to high-profile projects and future progression across our global group

What you’ll be doing

As our new Business Analyst, you’ll:

  • Lead discovery work across the business to map out and analyse current processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders at all levels – from front-line teams to senior leaders – across the UK and internationally
  • Play a central role in shaping the future of our HRIS and payroll systems across four strategic business units
  • Run workshops, gather clear business requirements, and assess whether systems should be unified or kept separate
  • Help us move away from fragmented systems and toward smarter, scalable solutions
  • Support change and communications efforts to ensure smooth adoption across the business
  • Collaborate with teams including IT, People, Education and Legal to ensure everything aligns with our organisational goals

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Expertise in HRIS/payroll systems like SAP, Workday, Oracle, ADP or Dayforce
  • A strong grasp of GDPR, data privacy, and system integration best practices
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels
  • Experience with methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Scrum – and familiarity with tools like Prince2 or BCS/ISEB qualifications

If you're a curious, solution-focused analyst who thrives on making systems work better for people we’d love to hear from you.

This is more than a BA role. It’s your chance to build better ways of working for a business that helps shape young lives.

Apply now and help us give every child the best start in life.
