Business Administrator - Temporary (Ongoing)
Location: Newcastle
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 1:30pm
Pay Rate: £14-15 per hour
Kinetic are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join our client on an ongoing temporary basis in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and project delivery across multiple departments.
The Role:
You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support, helping to ensure the smooth running of business activities. This position is central to coordinating tasks, supporting projects, and maintaining efficient workflows across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the ordering and distribution of PPE across departments
Manage equipment orders for new starters and replacements
Support the procurement of IT equipment
Order office supplies, stationery, and ad hoc items
Arrange travel bookings, including hire cars when required
Organise medical appointments for new starters and annual renewals
Manage security clearance processes
Support tender submissions and audit preparation by organising project documentation
Maintain accurate records, including scanning and filing site documents and test results
Handle high volumes of emails and maintain organised job-specific folders
Raise requisitions and monitor workflow progress
Maintain invoice logs and assist with project-related data entry
Take meeting minutes and distribute actions
Coordinate internal and client meetings, ensuring effective communication
Prepare project start-up packs and track updates from stakeholders
Produce variation quotations and customer offers as required
Skills & Experience:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems
High attention to detail, particularly around compliance requirements
Experience using Salesforce is desirable
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
A continuous improvement mindset
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
