The Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance service. Youll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out property inspections and diagnosing building defects
• Managing day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance works
• Preparing specifications of work and overseeing contractors on site
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety and relevant regulations
• Supporting customer-focused service delivery, ensuring a positive tenant experience
• Working collaboratively with housing and maintenance teams
• Monitoring performance, quality, and value for money

About You

Were looking for someone who is technically strong but equally passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

You will have:

• A recognised qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent
• Experience within social housing, repairs, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of building pathology and defect diagnosis
• Experience managing contractors and overseeing works
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
