We're looking for a Maintenance & Compliance Surveyor to oversee properties across the South of England. This is a home-based role with regional travel and occasional visits to the head office in Leeds.
What you'll be doing:
Managing compliance: gas, electric, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, etc.
Surveying void and occupied properties to assess and scope required works
Ensuring third-party refurbishments meet internal asset standards
Managing contractor performance and project delivery
Conducting risk assessments, post-inspections, and tenant satisfaction checks
Supporting long-term asset strategy through condition surveys and data updatesWhat you'll bring:
2+ years' post-qualified experience in property surveying or asset management
HNC or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of building construction, legislation, and safety compliance
Experience with FRA actions and cyclical maintenance planning
Ability to manage workloads independently and drive contractor performance
