Position Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Fire Building Safety Manager to lead fire safety management across our building portfolio. This critical role ensures fire-related risks are identified, addressed, and communicated effectively, while maintaining rigorous compliance with legal and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities Fire Risk Assessments: Conduct and regularly update thorough fire risk assessments for all buildings under management. Compliance Oversight: Ensure full adherence to fire safety legislation and standards, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Building Safety Act 2022. Safety Planning: Develop, implement, and test fire evacuation plans, fire safety strategies, and emergency response protocols. Training & Awareness: Deliver fire safety training to staff, contractors, and tenants, promoting a culture of vigilance and preparedness. Inspection & Testing: Oversee regular inspection, maintenance, and testing of fire safety equipment (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, fire doors). Incident Management: Lead investigations into fire-related incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
