Building Regulations Principal Designer

A Construction Consultancy with a social office environment, are now seeking a Building Regulation Principal Designer to ensure design compliance, whilst working with both internal Architects and external clients.

They also have a demonstratable track record of staff development, and they will be providing CPD in order to bolster your knowledge of Building Regulations, as you offer Principal Designer Advisory services to Architects.

They pay above market rate for their Building Regulation Principal Designers and are seeking someone who has an Architectural or Building Control background.

The Role

The successful Principal Designer for Building Regulations will be involved in ensuring Building Regulation compliance, guiding clients through the Gateway processes. Training and CPD will be provided.

The Person

The Building Regulation Principal Designer suitable for this role will have at least 4 years within an Architectural, Design or Building Control role.

Experience in managing Building Regulation compliance is required.

Experience of undertaking the Principal Design role for Building Regulation compliance is required.

You will have an ARB, MCIAT, RIBA, MCABE or MCIOB membership.
