Job Description

My client is a new innovative and fast-growing SME Business Loans Lender, their aim is to reshape access to business finance for small and medium enterprises across the UK, all backed by quick decisions and easy-to-use technology. As they prepare to launch, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to help scale their business by working closely with the Head of Sales, on their sales pipeline and to identify and close new lending opportunities with brokers.


As a Business Development Executive, you will be a key driver of the company's growth, responsible for building strong relationships with existing brokers. You will work with the Head of Sales to identify and generate new lending opportunities, ensure seamless communication with stakeholders, and actively close deals. Your efforts will contribute directly to the success of our business and expand our reach in the market.


This is an office based role, based in the office in Central London.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for broker inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses
  • Support the Head of Sales and future sales team with pipeline management and deal tracking
  • Coordinate documentation, ensure application completeness, and liaise with internal credit and operations
  • Manage onboarding processes for new broker partners
  • Take ownership of a small number of broker relationships
  • Assist in organising webinars, partner updates, and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor deal flow and flag delays or opportunities to optimise service levels
  • Maintain CRM records and produce activity reports for the broker channel


Requirements:

  • 2+ years' of experience in a sales support or BDE role, ideally in commercial lending or financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with brokers.
  • Problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a drive to support revenue growth
  • Customer-centric approach and problem-solving attitude
