As a Branch Merchandising Coordinator, you will be managing a team and department to develop and drive an Outbound Supply strategy that delivers great availability to stores, meeting customer and market requirements whilst delivering maximum profit and saving cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly allocation and replenishment in line with business priorities and customer demand.
- Managing a team and ensuring key objectives are delivered.
- Laser focus on retail availability and demand forecast planning to ensure key business priorities and key event targets are met.
- Stock Maintenance of old/markdown/end of life product.
- Working with inbound, identify key business priority lines, to ensure they are tracked from end to end.
- Being proactive and supportive with store feedback, ensuring requirements are met.
- Involvement in end-to-end strategy; looking to seek and enhance process improvements.
- Collaborative working with the store visualisation team on maximising store sales potential
- Maximise full price sales potential to minimise markdown risk.
- Engage with Merchandising teams to ensure consistent priorities are agreed
- Support P&L by saving cost through continued focus and action
- Being aware of ALS capacity challenges and support where you can with your team.
- Communicate cross functionally to ensure consistent delivery.
- Demand and Forecast planning – ensuring accurate forecasting in line with business priorities and key events.
- Accountable for launch availability throughout the year as well as delivering on key promotional events at certain points of the year.
- Delivering on supply chain targets and ensuring instock targets are delivered.
- Support supply manager with data analysis and strategic initiatives to get ahead of the curve.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for numbers, interpreting data and the ability to translate this into forward creative planning.
- Knowledge of wider supply chain dynamics to drive speed to market and save cost.
- Inquisitive mind-set and driven by continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, quickly & effectively to agreed deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
- Clarity of thinking, commercially savvy & ability to problem solve
- Advanced Excel Knowledge, with the ability to analyse and interpret data and reports.
- Good understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build networks and effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business.
- Coaching and Leadership skills.
- Confidence to make decisions and deliver at pace.
