An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Bexhill . This is a fantastic chance to become part of a friendly and professional team that provides exceptional support to a wide range of businesses and individuals across Sussex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and ClearBooks Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software queries Liaising with clients to ensure all records are completed and VAT returns are submitted on time Completing and filing VAT and CIS returns Preparing schedules, reports and reconciliations up to trial balance This full-time position is with flexibility to consider part-time arrangements (minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week). Hybrid working may be available, with up to 2 days per week from home.
The ideal candidate will: Have well-rounded bookkeeping knowledge and experience Be familiar with cloud bookkeeping software Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Be tech-savvy and confident working in a modern, digital accounting environment Whats in it for you Competitive salary
