The Role
We are looking for a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing London team. This is a hands-on role focused on commissioning and delivering high-quality BMS solutions across a variety of projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating in line with design specifications, with a strong emphasis on HVAC plant optimisation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Commission BMS systems across multiple projects in London and the South East
Carry out point-to-point checks, system testing, and validation
Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, and associated systems
Ensure systems operate efficiently and in accordance with design intent
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Diagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
Produce commissioning documentation, reports, and handover packs
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and consultantsRequirements
Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
Strong working knowledge of:
Trend BMS systems
Tridium Niagara (N4)
Siemens BMS platforms
Solid background in HVAC plant commissioning
Strong understanding of control strategies and system integration
Experience with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and MSTP
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
Experience working for a BMS systems integrator
Knowledge of energy optimisation and system performance tuning
Relevant technical qualifications (City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
CSCS/ECS cardWhat We Offer
