About the Biology Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our high-achieving Science department. The successful Biology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a passion for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Biology Teacher:

* Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.

* Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Biology concepts and develop their scientific skills.

* Assess and monitor student progress in Biology, providing constructive feedback and support.

* Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum and departmental resources.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Biology teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A degree in Biology or a related field.
