The company are already making huge strides in their mission to be the number one provider of biogas here in the UK market and we're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join them towards the end of the build and grow with the asset.The strategically important Maintenance Engineer role comes with a highly competitive salary, pension, and potential for overtime.If you're a Maintenance Engineer and are looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Maintenance Engineer roleReporting to the Plant Manager, you will:Carry out maintenance of the plant on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and associated pipeworkManage maintenance contractors visiting the site, assisting with production of RAMSWork to and update pre-planned maintenance (PPM) schedulesLog all jobs and liaise with the Plant Manager to ensure spare parts are available or on orderComplete site safety checks and report any faults or breakdownsPerform daily fault-finding and diagnosticsAssess the plant with a continuous improvement mindset to suggest operational enhancementsLearn about and assist with running the biogas plantAttend call-outs as requiredOccasionally support other sites in the same regionPerform other duties as requiredProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Higher education in engineering (HNC/HND, Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or higher)UK driving licenceExperience in anaerobic digestion, energy from waste, or a similar environmentPersonal skillsThe Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:Hard-working, highly detail-oriented, and solutions-focusedDiligent with strong attention to detailKeen to learn how to operate the assets as well as maintain themSalary and benefits of the Maintenance Engineer roleHighly competitive salaryOvertime potential to significantly increase earningsCompany pension and holiday allowanceInternal progression opportunities as the business growsChance to join a winning team and drive the business forwardINDREN#LI-MS1Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
