With new contracts secured across landfill and anaerobic digestion sites, theyre expanding their engineering team.This is a hands-on role for a Commercial Gas Engineer looking to break into (or build on) experience within biogas and renewable gas systems. If youve got solid gas qualifications and want something more technical than standard boiler workthis is where you level up.The RoleYoull be working across multiple client sites, supporting the maintenance, repair, and installation of biogas plant equipment.Day-to-day includes:Servicing and maintaining boiler plant, compressors, gas boosters, flare stacks, digesters, and heat exchangersFault finding and repairing biogas systems and associated plantSupporting new installations and upgradesCarrying out gas and nitrogen purgingCompleting service reports and technical documentationParticipating in a call-out rota for breakdowns and emergenciesWorking safely in line with RAMS and HSEQ standardsThis is a field-based role with autonomyexpect a mix of teamwork and lone working.What Youll NeedMinimum 5 years experience in commercial gas engineeringCurrent Gas Safe qualifications including:COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, BMP1, CDGA1, CIGA1Strong experience with commercial plant and pipework systemsComfortable working in confined spaces (training provided if needed)Full UK driving licenceNice to Have (Not Essential)Experience in biogas / anaerobic digestion / landfill gasOFTEC qualifications (101, 105, 600A, 201)Utilities or water industry backgroundKnowledge of systems like SimPROFirst Aid at WorkWhats in It for YouDoor-to-door pay youre paid from when you leave homeCall-out allowance + enhanced overtime ratesCompany van (private use available)25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension schemeEmployee assistance programmePhone / allowance + full workwear providedWhy This Role?Lets be bluntstraight commercial gas roles are repetitive.
