The role will focus on coordinating BIM processes within building services design teams, ensuring models, data, and workflows are delivered to a high technical standard.You will work closely with Mechanical and Electrical design engineers, supporting large industrial developments such as data centres, logistics hubs, and large-scale distribution facilities.\n\nWhat you'll need to succeed \n\nPrevious experience working as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role within a building services or engineering consultancy.\nStrong working knowledge of Revit for Mechanical and Electrical services.\nExperience coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary design teams.\nGood understanding of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 principles, including model management and coordination workflows.\nWorking knowledge of Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection (desirable).\nAbility to support design teams with model setup, coordination reviews, and technical outputs.\nStrong attention to detail with a well‑organised and proactive approach to workload management.\nConfident communicator, comfortable working closely with engineers and wider project stakeholders.\nExperience contributing to large-scale or technically complex projects (industrial, data centres, logistics, or similar sectors advantageous).\nComfortable working primarily in an office-based environment, with hybrid working available once eligible.\nWhat you'll get in return \n\nCompetitive salary in the range of £45,000 - £50,000, depending on experience.\n33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.\nEmployer pension.\nOpportunity to work on high‑profile, large‑scale projects across the UK and Europe, particularly within data centres and major industrial developments.\nA supportive and technically strong BIM environment, working closely with experienced Mechanical and Electrical design teams.\nClear scope to develop your BIM expertise, with exposure to complex, coordination‑led projects.\nHybrid working available following a successful probation period (typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, performance‑dependent).\nModern office environment with on‑site parking.\nA business that values long‑term commitment, collaboration, and professional standards.\nWhat you need to do now \nIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.\nIf this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us using the details below for a confidential discussion about your career:\nEmail: \nMobile No.: (phone number removed)\n\nHays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
