There couldn't really be a better time to join RPC's proposals team. An integral part of our sales function, this role will bring creativity, commitment and enthusiasm to how we respond to competitive tenders.

Reporting into the Senior Proposals Manager, you will be a role model for collaboration. Working closely with colleagues in BD and Client Development, you will enjoy significant and regular access to senior lawyers throughout the business.

A first-rate project manager, with exemplary attention to detail, you will also need a flair for writing with impact, elevating our proposals so they align with our brand promise and stand apart from the competition.

RPC is going through an exciting period of evolution, and we need somebody with the energy to reflect our ambition in our response to RFPs.

The role

The role of the Proposals Manager is at the forefront of our marketing and sales efforts; proposal support is a core service delivered to the business by the Brand, Clients & Markets team.

Reporting to the Senior Proposals Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of a wide range of pitches and RFPs for Partners and lawyers across the business.

Typical proposals include re-pitching for existing client work, pitching for additional work from existing clients and pitching for new work from new prospects. The focus of this role will be competitive qualified opportunities (RFIs, RFPs, panel appointments), albeit with a requirement to flex according to demand.

The role would be suitable for an established Proposals Manager or high-performing Senior Executive looking to step up. We need someone who is not only experienced in the pitch process but who also enjoys developing relationships with key internal stakeholders and is looking for the challenge of working in a mid-sized law firm where they can make a strategic impact, quickly.
