We’re working with a forward-thinking engineering business in Kirkbymoorside who are looking to recruit a Bid Project Manager to join their Sales team.
This is a newly created role, introduced due to continued growth and high demand, making it a fantastic opportunity to shape the position and really make it your own.
You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative group, playing a key role in helping them win new contracts and deliver tailored solutions for their customers.
We are looking for someone who has previous exposure to bids or tenders - even if you haven’t been solely responsible, we’re looking for someone who’s been involved in the process and understands how to bring different departments together to deliver a great solution.
Some of the Bid Project Manager duties are:
Coordinate bid activity across the business to support the Sales team in securing new work Act as the central point between departments including Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Commercial and more to ensure all requirements are captured Prepare and develop bid packs including cost estimates, schedules, technical proposals and supporting documentation Maintain internal bid processes, registers and KPIs Support with pre-contract customer-related tasks such as customer questionnaires Ensure a smooth handover to the new product introduction (NPI) team upon successful contract award, transferring data for bu...
