About the Role:
We are representing a respected and growing civil engineering contractor in their search for an experienced and proactive Bid Manager. This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading and managing the entire bid process from start to finish - including hands-on bid writing, coordinating technical inputs, and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, be comfortable writing persuasive content, and excel at driving deadlines across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid feedback. Write and edit high-quality, compelling bid content, tailoring responses to client requirements and evaluation criteria. Coordinate inputs from technical teams, planners, estimators, and commercial departments to ensure cohesive and compliant submissions. Develop win themes and value propositions that clearly articulate the client's strengths and differentiators.
