On offer is the chance to join a well-established creative agency that partners with some of the UK’s most recognisable consumer and lifestyle brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, one where creativity, tone, and brand voice matter as much as compliance. You’ll be working closely with a long-standing Head of Bids and supported by an in-house designer to help bring pitches to life. It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys crafting compelling narratives for B2B clients rather than working to a rigid, public sector scoring matrix.
The business is a long-established and growing force within the creative and marketing sector, supporting a diverse range of well-known B2B and consumer-facing brands. This Bid Manager role will involve leading on creative, commercially focused proposals, often fast paced, always varied, with support from an experienced Head of Bids and an in-house design team. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping high-impact bids in a smaller team environment, with strong visibility, freedom to influence, and genuine potential for long term growth
Key Duties:
* Bid management: lead the end-to-end bid process from qualification to submission and feedback
* Bid strategy: develop and execute winning bid strategies that align with Linney’s marketing services proposition, client requirements and market trends
* Stakeholder collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed
* Response production: write, edit and proof compelling responses for a wide-ranging business audience, tailoring content as needed to the client, sector and service
* Resource management: manage bidding resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions
* Market research: stay informed about Linney’s key propositions and new service launches, along with UK marketing services and competitor developments to inform bid strategies
* Continuous improvement: maintain and enhance our Bid & Marketing library and continuously refine bid processes
Experience Required:
* Bid Manager experience
* Background bidding in private sector industries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling proposals
* Creative and innovative thinking
* Willing to travel to Mansfield least once a week/fortnight, as well as occasional travel to site visits and events
