Bid Manager - Defence and Security South Cambridge to C£75K + Hybrid + Benefits - UK Security Clearance A Bid Manager with a technical Degree and several years experience bidding in a technical service environment (Defence) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process. The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where youll focus on Defence and Security. Your background should include: A Degree qualification in Electronics, Physics or similar discipline. Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding. Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence. Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents. Experience of client contact. The responsibilities of the Bid Manager will include: Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation. Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.
