Job Description

With a strong pipeline of international work, a leading design studio is looking to bring in a Bid Lead to support its London team.


This role sits at the centre of the studio’s new business activity, leading the preparation, coordination and delivery of high quality bids and proposals across an international portfolio.


The practice operates at the intersection of architecture, urban design and experiential environments, delivering projects across public realm, cultural, retail, hospitality and large scale urban experiences worldwide.


The Role

This is a key hire for the studio, suited to someone highly organised, detail driven and confident managing the full bid lifecycle.


You will take ownership of submissions from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring proposals are compelling, well structured and aligned with client requirements.

Alongside delivery, you will play an important role in refining bid processes, improving efficiency and elevating the overall quality of submissions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end to end preparation and delivery of bids, proposals and tender submissions
  • Write, edit and structure high quality, tailored content that clearly communicates design thinking and value
  • Translate complex design ideas into clear, engaging narratives
  • Coordinate input from internal teams and external collaborators
  • Ensure all submissions are accurate, well-formatted and aligned with client requirements
  • Manage multiple deadlines across a fast-paced pipeline of opportunities
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of bid processes, tools and templates
  • Conduct research into clients, competitors and opportunities to strengthen submissions
  • Track bid outcomes and support internal feedback processes
  • Assist with the preparation of interview materials and presentations
  • Maintain and develop bid libraries, templates and case study content


Requirements

  • 3 - 6 years’ experience in a bid coordination / bid management role (within architecture, design or the built environment)
  • Degree in architecture, design or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive content
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe InDesign (essential) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach
  • Good visual awareness and an eye for layout and presentation
