We’re looking for a confident, articulate and detail-obsessed individual to drive winning bids and ensure our commercial contracts are watertight and strategically aligned.OverviewLead end-to-end bid management and commercial activities to secure wins and maintain robust NHS frameworks and contracts.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Bid Ownership – Lead the full tender lifecycle: identifying opportunities, creating compelling submissions, collaborating with stakeholders, and securing wins.Commercial Agreement Leadership – Own the review, negotiation, and maintenance of all NHS frameworks, client contracts, and supplier agreements.Strategic Input – Provide executive summaries and strategic recommendations on tender viability and commercial risk.Content Creation & Quality Control – Craft persuasive responses with a clear, consistent tone. Lead storyboarding, ensure compliance, and refine inputs from across the business.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with the Head of Contracts and Operations, senior leadership, and frontline teams to create tailored, accurate bids and contracts.Industry Awareness – Stay ahead of NHS procurement trends and market shifts to ensure bids are competitive, compliant, and innovative.Mentor and collaborate with our trainee bid writer, helping to shape their development and ensure consistency across submissions.What We’re Looking ForA persuasive writer with proven success in bid management and commercial contract negotiationStrong knowledge of NHS frameworks and procurement processesDetail-focused with exceptional proofreading, legal understanding, and document control skillsSkilled in stakeholder engagement, from operations teams to boardroom execsCool under pressure, proactive, and naturally solutions-focusedComfortable managing multiple deadlines and maintaining high standards throughoutExperience & Background4+ years in a similar bid/commercial management roleHealthcare, recruitment, or public sector experience preferredWhy Globe Locums?We’re a vibrant, forward-thinking company with a commitment to quality, compliance, and growth.
