Overview
The Benefits & Leaves Analyst (EMEA/APAC) is a critical operational role within the Total Rewards team, responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of benefits and leave programs across EMEA and APAC. The role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely execution of benefits and leave processes in highly regulated environments with limited automation.
This position partners closely with payroll, vendors, HR partners, and employees to manage eligibility, leave tracking, payroll coordination, and employee inquiries. This role enables the Total Rewards Function to scale globally while maintaining compliance and freeing senior team members to focus on strategic initiatives and system implementations.
Responsibilities
Benefits Administration (EMEA & APAC)
- Own day‑to‑day operations of country‑specific benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Support onboarding, off-boarding, and international transfers. Coordinate with vendors to resolve eligibility, coverage, and data discrepancies.
- Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve eligibility, coverage, and data discrepancies with vendors and internal partners.
Leave Administration & Compliance
- Interpret and apply statutory and company leave programs across EMEA and APAC.
- Maintain leave records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
- Own leave pay and payroll deductions with regional payroll teams.
- Collect, track, and manage statutory employee documentation in accordance with local
regulations. - Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees on leave‑related questions.
Payroll & Data Coordination
- Own preparation and submission of monthly benefits and leave deduction files to payroll.
- Drive process enhancements in data transmission between Benefit and Payroll.
- Ensure alignment between benefits, leave, and payroll data across systems and vendors.
- Support annual processes such as vacation accrual updates and year‑end reporting activities.
Employee Support Case Management
- Support employee onboarding in EMEA/APAC through live presentations and async communications
- Respond to tier 1-2 employee benefits and leave inquiries via Zendesk, providing clear, accurate, and empathetic guidance.
- Triage issues and escalate complex cases to senior team members as appropriate.
- Contribute to consistent, high‑quality employee experience across regions.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Maintain and update internal benefits documentation, employee communications, and internal process guides.
- Partner on benefits and leave projects, including system updates, vendor implementations, and country launches.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and scalability in manual processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in human resources, benefits or related field
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or related field
- OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience in human resources, benefits or related field
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or related field AND 3+years experience in human resources, benefits, or related field
