Job Description

Robertson Recruitment are looking for an experienced and reliable Bench Hand Joiner to join the workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery items including doors, windows and cabinetry. You will work from technical drawings and use a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools to produce precision joinery to a high standard.

Working hours

Monday to Friday

07:30am - 16:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture bespoke joinery items from technical drawings and specifications

  • Operate woodworking machinery such as spindle moulders, panel saws, thicknessers, and planers

  • Assemble timber components to produce finished joinery products

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or similar role

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Skilled in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools

  • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship

  • Good time management and organisational skills

  • Knowledge of workshop health and safety practices
