Behavioural Science Consulting Intern
1 Days Old
Job Description
Location: Remote-first (with occasional in-person London-based team strategy sessions)
Hours: 2 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Compensation: National Minimum Wage + Commission/OTE on live projects
Start date: Rolling applications
Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot sponsor visas.
At The Wellbeing Agent, we’re redefining how behavioural science shapes wellness, decision-making, and performance—from individual clients to brands and organisations. We’re looking for sharp, curious, and mission-aligned graduates to join our Behavioural Science Division as consulting interns. Whether you're passionate about psychology, behavioural economics, or decision science, this is a chance to be part of something formative.
This is not your typical internship. You’ll co-build a behavioural science team from the ground up- working on real-world and hypothetical projects across health, wellbeing, fintech, social change, and human-centred brand strategy. The aim? To give you the space to learn by doing, while adding your own stamp to live initiatives that may scale into long-term roles.
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on behavioural strategy experience on live wellness + brand challenges
- Cross-functional exposure across behavioural health, business psychology, UX, and neuroscience-led consulting
- Access to scientific literature reviews, experiment design, intervention mapping, and brand audits
- Mentorship and collaboration with wellness specialists, psychologists, and digital consultants
- Potential to transition into a full-time role based on impact, output, and business growth
What You’ll Work On
- Designing behavioural frameworks for wellness coaching, glucose biosensor tech, and organisational consulting
- Mapping behavioural interventions for individuals, startups, and creative organisations
- Analysing case studies and prototyping ideas to present in client-ready formats
- Creating deliverables such as briefs, behavioural insights decks, strategy notes, or blog-style reflections
- Collaborating on team infrastructure and culture-building from scratch
Who We’re Looking For
This role is best suited to a graduate or early-career thinker with curiosity, discipline, and initiative. You’re passionate about the human mind, science-backed change, and the psychology of everyday behaviour.
You’ll thrive if you have:
- A degree (or are completing one) in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Behavioural Economics, Cognitive Science, Marketing, or Human Decision Science
- Strong written communication and research synthesis skills
- Familiarity with behavioural models like COM-B, EAST, Fogg, Nudge, or CBT-based interventions
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Canva, Indesign, or web design programming languages ETC
- Experience conducting academic research, experiments, or behavioural audits (bonus if published)
- A flexible mindset and openness to working in ambiguity with creativity and accountability
- Your own access to a laptop and basic design or collaboration tools (Google Drive, Notion, Canva, etc.)
In this internship self-sufficiency is important. We are a growing studio with grassroots beginnings- ideal for those excited to build, not just join.
Applications are open on a rolling basis- we review them weekly. This is a unique chance to be involved at the beginning of a behavioural science movement with purpose, depth, and soul. Let’s build the science that makes wellbeing work.
