Learning Support Assistant - ARP Provision
Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and succeed in school? We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a dedicated team in Barking and Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with pupils who need additional behavioural and emotional support.
The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help students regulate behaviour, engage positively in lessons, and build confidence. The role is based in Barking and Dagenham, supporting pupils within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support for students who may present behavioural challenges. Mainstream experience is key, as you will be working in a busy classroom setting where strong behaviour management skills are essential. This position is located in Barking and Dagenham, where schools are committed to providing the right education and training opportunities for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver effective support
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and engagement in learning
- Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour
- Contribute to a safe and supportive school culture in Barking and Dagenham

Requirements:
