Behaviour & Pastoral Specialist - Alternative Provision Location: Old Trafford, Greater Manchester Salary: £90 - £130 per day (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate) Simply Education are working exclusively with a highly regarded alternative provision based in Old Trafford that supports students aged 11-16 with complex behavioural, social, and emotional needs. The provision delivers a tailored curriculum with a focus on Functional Skills, therapeutic intervention, and holistic development. They are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Behaviour & Pastoral Specialist to lead and enhance the pastoral provision across the school. This role is critical in supporting young people who are disengaged from mainstream education and require consistent, trauma-informed care and behaviour support.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement the provision's behaviour and pastoral support strategy
Lead on interventions to support students with SEMH, trauma, and adverse experiences
Manage and develop behaviour support plans and risk assessments
Work closely with teaching staff, support teams, and external professionals
