This is a unique opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to join an SEND school in Greenwich on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible.
What is the role? In this role as a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting children aged 11-16 who have a primary diagnosis of social, emotional, mental health (SEMH). This is an opportunity to inspire children in an SEMH specialist setting, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom by providing encouragement and direction when needed.
Who are they looking for? A strong-willed individual who can demonstrate existing experience working with children with more challenging behaviours. This might be in a school setting, or it might be in a care setting. Either way, they want to hear from you!
Why should you apply? Working with children with SEND is a remarkable job which provides a deep sense of reward. Children have never needed positive, compassionate and dedicated support more than now. In this Behaviour Mentor role, you will be seeing the direct and monumental impact of your support on a daily basis.
Why choose Horizon Teachers? We offer our support staff the highest rates and this role can pay up to £675 per week! You will be paid the permanent equivalent for the job after 12 weeks, in many cases from day one.
