Key Responsibilities:
*
Support pupils with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basis
*
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using restorative and trauma-informed approaches
*
Assist teachers in managing behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment
*
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
*
Implement behaviour support plans and individual strategies
*
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
*
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SEN teams
*
Follow safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety policies at all times
Requirements:
*
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable)
*
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
*
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
