The Role – Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a fast-paced SEMH school on a long-term basis, starting ASAP. A successful Behaviour Mentor will play a key role in supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, helping them to engage fully with their learning and achieve their full potential. As a Behaviour Mentor you must have excellent behaviour management skills, combined with a calm, empathetic, and patient approach. Strong relationship-building abilities are essential, enabling the mentor to connect with students, understand their individual needs, and foster a positive, supportive environment. The Behaviour Mentor role focuses on encouraging students to develop independence, resilience, and self-regulation, ensuring they leave school with the skills and confidence to succeed academically and personally.

The School – Behaviour Mentor

This SEMH School, located in Bromley, provides Key Stage 1 to 5 education for young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It offers both boys and girls the opportunity to specialise in vocational subjects within a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
