We are currently recruiting for an experienced Beam Saw Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Worcester (Blackpole). This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator looking for a long-term position with potential to go permanent. Wooden / hardwood worktops Steel and stainless steel worktops Anti-static (ESD) worktops for electronics Laminate and compact worktops Heavy-duty surfaces for engineering and manufacturing Key Responsibilities: Operating a beam saw to cut materials accurately to specification Setting up and adjusting the beam saw machinery for different jobs Reading and interpreting cutting lists and technical drawings Ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality in all cuts Loading materials onto machinery and ensuring correct positioning Wrapping finished products and preparing them for dispatch Assisting with general factory duties when required Maintaining machinery and keeping the work area clean and safe Requirements: Previous experience operating a beam saw or similar woodworking machinery is essential Ability to read technical drawings and cutting specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing environment Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Early finish on Fridays Stable, ongoing work with opportunity for a permanent role If you believe you have the relevant experience and skills, please apply with your CV today
