We are now recruiting for an ambitious and energetic Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager to further strengthen the UK clientele on a national basis. You will be the front of the Company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
Based remotely you will manage the full freight forwarding sales cycle, from assessing customer requirements, to managing the relationship, all customer visits to preparing and presenting to a customer in order to make the sale.
You will maintain and develop customer relationships at both a senior and day to day levels. Creating strategic relationships in order to maximise growth and sales potential. With responsibility for the Sales and Operating Process, generating data to accurately predict both the Monthly sales forecast but also the annual budgets. Requires accurate costings, good knowledge of volumes and customer sales forecast and performance.
You will conduct desk research on relevant and potential customers, driving initial contact with them in order to arrange meetings and discuss new business prospects.
