About the role As a Basketball Coach, youll be responsible for the planning, delivery, and organisation of high-quality Basketball coaching sessions for students enrolled in the course at the College, in partnership with the Sheffield Elite Academy. The role involves working collaboratively to develop student athletes, both technically and personally, supporting progression into elite sport, further education, or employment.
Main Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, safe, and progressive Basketball coaching sessions to students aged 1619. Plan and coordinate weekly training schedules, fixtures, and competitive games in collaboration with Sheffield Elite Academy staff and The Sheffield College curriculum team. Monitor player development, performance, and welfare, ensuring holistic support for each student-athlete.
