The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Barista to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for mixology, a friendly manner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, attention to detail, and ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere will contribute to an enjoyable beverage experience for our customers and members.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Taking drink orders and serving guests with efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and our menu.
Maintaining a clean and organised bar area according to established guidelines and ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
Handling cash transactions and accurately processing payments.
Engaging with customers, building rapport, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques.
Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties and flavour profiles.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and presentation.
Demonstrating knowledge of various cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
